PROFILE OF THE DOR COMPANY :

DOR, Ltd. is a private company, which was founded in year 1997 and its activities are specialized on export of die castings made of aluminim and zinc alloys include their machining, powder painting and their assembling into bigger units for the automotive indudstry as well as for the light industry. The common sign of the parts are high customer`s requirements at the dimensional accuracy and at the quality of the front surface`s machining, most of which are a part of an interior.

The main philosophy of the company is to provide the complex services from contribution at the part`s evolution through tool`s production, die castings production to their treatment, painting and assembling into the subassemblies.

For the realization of this intention the company uses its foundry and its workplaces equipped with CNC millers, CNC turning machines as well as with special purposes machines for machining of the die castings, it also uses robotized and mechanical workplace for the treatment of the die castings, painting shop, assembly workplaces as well as the own well equipped tooling shop and CAD/CAM workplace.

The strategy of the company is to supply stable European quality in short delivery times for good prices, flexible and active reaction to the customer`s wishes. The ambition is to build up long-term correct partnership.

Number of employees is round 200 and it has a growing tendency. The products are exported mainly to renowned world-know companies.

The majority of the orders are from the automotive industry field and the products of the DOR company you can find in the automobiles like BMW, TOYOTA, PORSCHE, DAIMLER-CHRYSLER, AUDI, VW, SUZUKI..

Quality management system has been build up since the company`s foundation. According to the ISO 9001:2000 company was certificated for the first time in year 2001. Consequently in the year 2002 the certification in the serial production was extended on the requirements of ISO TS 169949 (excerpt tooling shop).
  Environmental management system was firstly certificated according to ISO 14001:1996 in the year 2004 and recertificated according to the revised ISO 14001:2004 in the year 2006.
